57th Academy Awards Part 1: The River

In this episode of The Snub Club, the fam talks about 1984's The River. Directed by Mark Rydell and starring Sissy Spacek and Mel Gibson, The River was nominated for five Academy Awards but lost each and every one (except for the special Oscar it won, but that one was non-competitive so it counts, blah blah blah you know the drill). In this episode, Sarah, Danny, and Caleb discuss a surprisingly menacing tractor, the consequences of scabbing, and Hugh Jackman's opening number to the 2009 Oscars.
